The Moldovan Football Federation (FMF) fight match-fixing

The Football Federation of Moldova (FMF) is fighting corruption in football and match-fixing through a new partnership which it has concluded with Stats Perform. Their collaboration already started last month. Both parties signed a two-year agreement that will focus on monitoring all matches played  in the National Football Division.

Eugen Zubic, the head of FMF’s Integrity Department, said :

Football is the most loved and practiced game in the world, and our mission is to protect this sport from any threat. That is why it is crucial for FMF to use the services of Stats Perform, one of the largest international companies and experts in betting and field performance analysis, in the form of much-needed reports in the disciplinary investigation phase on match-fixing. Only together, the entire football community, can we stop the corruption in football by informing, sensitizing and condemning the arrangement of matches

Earlier in 2021, we already saw the emergency of partnerships between football organisations and companies providing their expertise in evaluating and monitoring integrity. Indeed, the Swedish Football Association has partnered with ‘Sportradar’ Integrity Services to tackle match-fixing in football in Sweden.
